Dairy headbails in New Zealand have traditionally been a few pipes at the end of a race. That was OK when farms had a few cows and not much handling was done. Today however cows are handled often, be that for hoofcare, AI, bolusses, drenching, tagging or you name it, there is always something to be done.
A good headbail with easy quick and silent locking is vital and full open width for easy flow in and out is critical. A straight rubber lined yoke for all animal size handling or a yoke shape for just adult cows.
